The primary method will be via the Employer Nomination Scheme via, where your current employer will need to nominate you.
You can also do this via the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa, which will again require your employer to nominate you. The process can be shorted by committing to work in regional Australia for a period of time.
The final worker-based approach is the Skilled Nominated Visa, where a State or Territory Government must nominate you based on skill and contribution to society. You must also be under 45 and score 65 points on the points test to qualify.
The minimum cost of the Permanent Residency visa is about $4,000 to $5,000 for the Fee paid to Home Affairs. You may need extra funds to pay for a Migration Agent, to help drive the process. The processing time is typically between 4-6 months for the Employer Nomination Scheme, and can be longer for the other approaches. You will also likely need to pay a fee to a Migration Agent to manage your Permanent Residency Process.
The loan will be used to fund the key expense of the Permanent Residency process:
Processing fee payable to the Department of Immigration, a minimum of $4,045
Fees for working with a registered immigration agency
We will help you form a budget for this and process your loan on that basis. It can also be settled in parts based on the timing of payments. The payment can go directly to your Immigration Agency or we can transfer the funds to your nominated bank account when required.
