Our Small Centrelink Loans are designed for our customers on lower income or receiving all or most of their income from Centrelink Benefits. We can loan amounts from $200 to $2,000 if you have validated and regular Centrelink income in your nominated bank account.
For new customers, if you have a lower income Centrelink benefit, your loan may be restricted to an Extra Small loan of $500 or less. Otherwise your first loan may be up to $1,000.
For existing customers with good repayment history we can loan up to $2,000 supported from your Centrelink Benefit income.

Whichever situation you’re in, we have a loan product that can suit. If you’re on really low income, like Youth Allowance, NewStart or Jobseeker benefits, you might need an Extra Small Cash Loan of $200 to $500 to get you through. This has lower payments and can be paid back in 3 months or less.
If you’ve got more income but still limited, our smaller cash loans can be up to $2,000 for existing customers and $1,000 for a new customer. These can be paid back in 6 months to free you up and get back to budgeting normally, and you can access another small loan next time in minutes if you hit a snag down the track.

For our Small Loans of $2,000 or less, an APR (Annual Percentage Rate) doesn’t apply. These are fee-based only, and so they don’t have an APR. The establishment fee is 20% of the amount borrowed and the monthly fee is 4% of the amount borrowed.
For example, a loan of $1,000 repaid over 4 months equates to a total payable of $1,360. This is comprised of $1,000
principal (the amount borrowed), $200 establishment fee, and a total of $160 in monthly fees.
For our Medium Loans between $2,001 and $5,000. The base interest rate may vary depending on the loan product. The maximum rate we use is 48% and an Establishment Fee of $400.
Terms for our Small Loans are up to 3-12 months, and for our Medium loans, it is 3-24 months. With each, you can
repay your loan any time without being charged additional fees, and it will reduce your interest and fee cost overall.
